She was in rehab in May. She just finish filming a movie called "Sparkle". She was found dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel where she attended a pre-grammy party and sang and looked good. CNN hasn't said who found her yet. I'm so emotional about her passing. In the 80's I rented a room to a Japanese girl who filled my house with Whitney Houston music. My foundest memory of her is her TV appearance singing "I'm Your Baby Tonight". She wore these pants that had big black and white pattern like a cow, lol. She did this cute little dance knocking her knees together to the beat of that song.

Alcohol and drugs are cunning, baffling and powerful.

Attempts to revive her failed and she was pronounced dead at 3:55pm in her hotel room. 170 million albums sold! This is so sad.
Rest in Peace Whitney, we will always love you.

That's sad. I don't think the path she took was her idea...she was goaded in that direction.

Such deliverance in her voice, which will never be duplicated. She was taken for all the wrong reasons. Such a talent to have taken the wrong path for recreation.
RIP Whitney...!
