Big Farm-a goes after small-op pig farmers in Michigan

Published:

Declares pigs "feral" based on physical traits. Orders animals destroyed.

There are plenty of feral pigs around, but they don't have curly tails, they have badges.

They are not to concerned about the asian carp, or zebra mussels, no, the government is protecting it's own hog interest,
Did you ever notice Michigan just has the worse stories lately?

With the vast amount of domesticated hog breeds these breeds of hogs they are supposedly raising are the wild variety from Europe. They are mainly raised for game hunting and tend to be vicious if precautions are not taken around them. They could escape the hunting ground and populate the wild.
They are generally of the razor back variety. Long snouted hogs for serious rooting and tusk large enough to rip a human up pretty good.

@sully, re: MI bad news...yes I have. There is always a reason behind the news they feed us. I would put MI threat level up a notch. Be safe.
