While some might blame his appearing on NatGeo as "bringing this on himself", that's the same logic as saying "she shouldn't have dressed like that". While it may be true, it ignores the larger point -- defy some bureaucrap whatever procedure (or payoff) they want, that's a pretext for relieving you of some of your property -- and leaving you in a position of not being able to protect the rest of it. If some people didn't "bring it on themselves", many of the rest of us wouldn't be aware of a problem, until it was too late.
TN touts their "no income tax", but when the state can steal your property for profit, they don't need a formal income tax. http://www.ij.org/asset-forfeiture-report-tennessee

He should be thankful his room at the Fema Suites wasn't ready yet.
There are over 1 Million, Three Hundred Thousand babies murdered in and out of the womb every year in this country and you have previously stated that you support a woman's right to murder her baby so don't act all indignant talking about babies killed over a hundred years ago. They were no more precious than the thousands being murdered today and everyday that you couldn't care less about. You even said you would support your daughter if she wanted to kill your grandchild someday. So let's keep things in perspective, shall we?
My focus was on the article. What people post in that article's comments are their own opinions. If you wanted to criticize those views, the place to do it was on THAT page; those people will never see your posts, HERE.
*MY* point is the principle of one's property being subject to theft on the whim of the state. I notice you had SQUAT to say about the second link that shows the big money collected selling stolen property.
