Which Side of the Fence Are You On?

Which side of the fence?
If you ever wondered which side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!
If a Republican doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.
If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.
If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect and parades to acknowledge him.
If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
If a Democrat is down-and-out, he wants to know who is going to take care of him.
If a Republican doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.
If a Democrat doesn't like a talk show host, he demands that he be taken off the air.
If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
If a Democrat is a non-believer, he wants any mention of God and religion silenced.
If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
If a Democrat decides he needs health care, he demands that the rest of us provide it and pay for it.
If a Republican reads this, he'll realize it's all true and have a good laugh.
If a Democrat reads this, he will deny it, call it lies and be "offended" even though he knows it's true.

So which side of the fence are you on?

And I guess that beings up another truism: Have you ever seen a "chain e-mail" like this written from a liberal standpoint? I haven't. Have you?
Do such things exist? I wonder if a kind liberal blogger would post such an e-mail, because I'd be fascinated to see how they reason out their arguments logically.
I mean that in all seriousness.
And no, I've never seen a comparable chain email written from the liberal standpoint and, like you, wonder how (or if) a liberal could counter the claims above in a completely honest manner, or, give a similar treatment of issues from the liberal perspective. Surely there are things that Conservatives do that seem equally off-kilter to them.
So if you take the (false) concept of money (whatever that means) from the debate:
Libs won't want guns outlawed?
Lib vegetarians won't want meat banned?
Lib homosexuals won't demand special minority status rights or parades?
Libs will no longer want Rush taken off the air because they don't agree with his politics?
Libs will no longer want mention of God or Jesus banned?
Sorry, but with all due respect, that just doesn't make any sense..
