When he announced a week before he were to quit it cost taxpayers 308 thousand dollars for secret service for one week for him. This was local news. He was here in NC then. They were saying 308 thousand dollars would have paid for 8 teachers jobs.

One week 308 thousand dollars for secret service for a candidate. Why do we have to pay for that? I can see our tax dollars going to something way better than that. No wonder these guys want to be politians.

Not to mention what they get after they have served in office. They are set for life. If being a politician wasn't so lucrative, I wonder how many would run then.

Oh!Oh! so very right on Tenaj, why else would they give up practicing medicine and law practice. They what their getting a life time of public benefits(taxpayers money) like Christmas every day for so of those hypocrites.
