Republicans - The Real Civil Rights Leaders

Published:

Last Edited: May 11, 2012, 2:15 am

Too many people have been brainwashed about civil rights.

There are people who have been for civil rights from the beginning and there have been those who fought against it tooth and nail all the way.

It's time to face facts and stop the lies and propaganda about who's who.

The following linked article should help dispel any misconceptions.

There's no substitute for the truth.

Well were going to see how many historians chime in this time Ridge.
There are still going to deny this even though it's in Black and White, and here's the best excerpt:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sixty-four of eighty Democrats in the House of Representatives had voted against the 13th Amendment. And so, Republicans feared that once the southern states were back in the Union, a Democrat majority along with a racist Democrat in the White House might undo all they had accomplished for African-Americans. What if they repealed the new Civil Rights Act?

To keep that law safe from a future Democrat Congress, Republicans enshrined its precepts in Section 1 of the 14th Amendment. Another point of pride for the GOP is that Republicans voted unanimously for the 14th Amendment, while Democrats voted unanimously against it.

I guess the " Haters " can call themselves haters too huh..!

The sad truth is that Republicans often play on the ignorance of the masses. The truth is only among themselves.

Without human rights, civil rights is meaningless.

Both political parties have taken away our human rights (as listed in the Bill of Rights, the Magna Carta and all other precedents) during the last ten years. BOTH parties signed the original Patriot Act and all of its renewals over the last decade. You can't blame Reps or Dems, you have to blame BOTH.

The entire system is corrupted. Voting republican or democrat will not change a dam# thing. The only solution as I see it, is for 2/3 of the fifty states to fire the corporation, UNITED STATES, and to re-claim their sovereign status (much like the breakup of the Soviet Union).
