Well join the club 'cause we got lots of earthquakes here in California. When I was a teenager living in the San Francisco Bay Area people were always saying " did you feel the quake?". I was mad because I had never felt one, lol. I would be waalking or in a car or something and miss it. But the famous Coalinga quake about 1982, after I had moved back to Fresno--- now that one I felt! The funny thing was I was just coming in the doorway with groceries from shopping. (They say a good place to stand in a quake is in a doorway). Everything started shaking and it sounded like a train coming nearby.
If you are concerned, a good thing to do is some "preparedness" like brace your hot water heater to the wall, store some water, food, etc.
You can move away but then where ever ya go it's always somethin', LOL.

Sometimes I think I feel a little quake so I look online to see if one just happened and where. They are usually small all around here. Sometimes it was just a train that rattled my picture, LOL.

hopefully i never ever experience a real big one.....
