I hear ya, Rick. Before there was the internet I would find articles or books to read, which helped greatly. For the times I did not do my own research, I paid the price.

So this morning, in just an hour of reading, I have learned 50X what any of the White Coats have been willing to tell me in the 5 minutes they allot for my "care".

I'll be doing a lot more reading but at this point I have every reason to follow my gut feeling yesterday of keeping that one surgeon at a great distance. Along with dismissing the seriousness of my condition, he told me I could have a procedure (much cheaper - I have no insurance, HA!) of which another specialist said "absolutely not". He actually spent more time inquiring on the JOBS/EMPLOYMENT per family income, than anything else.

No, not feeling much better here, but making do. Because I was feeling bad I bought a $5 Wild Card quick-pick at the vending machine on Sunday. So for Wednesday night, I at least have something. Also, I am kinda broke til next payday. grrrr So I may not be playing beyond Wednesday... unless I can get a little miracle.

As for numbers, I have no freekin idea. I am so behind on my game. And I'm gonna have company all weekend, daughter from out of town, with kids. It'll be real noisy in this house so not sure how it will work out to play anything.

Hey, Topnail! I have missed talking to you too! I was very sick for over a week, bad cold. But it's better now. Surgery is on the 20th so I'll be off work for awhile when that happens. Will practice my lottery -- that's for sure! I am going to make a new blog post on Wild Card. How'd you do tonight? I didn't play.
