The constitution is clearly written on what it states. Plus there are preceding cases to look at for guidance on a similiar case before the court.
Being conservative or liberal in thinking should not change the interpretation of the constitution or preceding cases.
It all boils down to how their brief on the case(s) is, are worded to suit their leaning.
