ANY group that votes as one big block with one political party is making themselves much weaker. Anyone wondering why Obama does not do more for blacks really doesn't think very hard, because the answer is so obvious: he knows he will get the black vote no matter what, so he doesn't have to work for it.

No matter who you are -- whatever race, religion, gender -- don't support a politician like you would support a sports team. Do not give blind allegiance to ANY politician or political party. Otherwise, you will lose all power of persuasion.

Don't hate the Tea Party -- examine what they did to gain such power of persuasion. They did not say "we are Republicans!". In fact, they said that they wanted to throw out the establishment Republicans. What did the Republicans do? They adapted to what the Tea Party wanted -- or else they lost their primaries (or at least many of them did).

Don't hate -- stand back and analyze, and copy what works. Don't have blind allegiance -- challenge and be ready to switch allegiance.

But, but bobbya it looks probable but they may have a vote recount and they need to count absentee ballots yet. Plus suspicion of vote irregularities.
If the dem does win he can sit in an empty legislative chamber. The Wisc legislature does not convene again until Janurary.
Plus they have another election coming up in Nov which could change the whole picture again.
But in the mean time Gov Walker will be doing buisness as usual.
