To each his own in marriage, but this should have been voted on instead passing this legislation. According to a gallop poll the majority of people are against this, but they do as they want.
@Scorpio, I agree with you, let the people decide. The problem is that the people DID decide these things in many states, and the courts overturn the will of the people. Or, in the case of the Defense of Marriage Act passed by Congress and signed by Clinton, the Obama administration decided to ignore their duty to enforce the laws of the land, and are willfully not enforcing the law.
The system does work, but it breaks down when various people in power decide that they can override the will of the people.
Not sure why we are responding with comments on gay marriage. The article talked more about race and how it is a non-issue in the 2012 race. I beg to defer.... every time someone disagrees with Obama, they are called racist, which of course, is BS and an intimidation tactic by Obama's supporters.
obama should have a female vice president,but that didn't even work for mccain.kinda wonder if walker will be his vp.
