“This is all doom and gloom, isn’t it?” To which I say, “For you, maybe, if you don’t have any other plan except to wait for everything to somehow magically fix itself.”

You see, building something that works takes a lot of time and effort. Things stop working in a hurry, but making a replacement takes time, resources, and, most importantly, stability. This can only be done ahead of time, and doing so takes practice (by which I mean learning from one’s own plentiful mistakes).

The comments are worth reading as well.

90 miles an hour down a deadend road.
And it's not just carelessness and irresponsibility and reckless abandon driving this, though there's plenty of that.
There's evil at work here.
