Obama Chasing Rich People Out Of The Country With Crushing Taxes

Who would want to give Obama 55% of their hardearned money to fritter away instead of leaving it to their kids?

Along with paying the highest corporate taxes in the world?

Nah, at some point, it's just not worth it anymore and you wind up saying screw this sh*t, we're outta here.

And those are the people who pay most of the taxes in this country.

God forbid the 47% of those who pay nothing now might have to chip in.

And that 47% who pay NOTHING, are the ones who want to punish the rich the most.

Go figure.

Seems to me this is a sound move with the proposed tax hike looming. I myself wouldn't want to pay a 55% tax regardless of any fact.

You oughta cry, paradisenow, cuz if enough rich people leave the country, you might have to actually start paying taxes.

With the recent article about banks having to follow reporting regulations of foriegn money in U.S. banks will drive out more money.
Following international regulations which they say cost a pittance for banks to do or was it planned by this administration to drive out money which the article explained in detail.
Part of the take down of the U.S. economic system.

The constitution
Section 8. The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
Should have taxation uniform throughout the United States also.
Why did they not put taxation uniform for each individual also. There was no federal tax until when? I forgot. Long after the constitution was signed that is for sure.
The gov't was mainly run on Duties, Imposts and Excises until that was not enough. So they went after the individual. Look it up.

I think prostitution in a resort area falls under the foriegn trade guidelines for taxation. Must be foriegners gettiin some so it must fall under import and export regulations.

Don't worry, scorpio, I'm sure there's still plenty of prostitutes left to discipline you on the weekends.
Don't take off your dog collar and leash just yet.

People who pay no taxes at all , complain that they want the rich to pay more? Do they not see how shallow, jealous, and stupid they all sound.
No what they parasites want is more of someone elses money.

Hate to bust your bubble, para, but the people themselves helped to create the mess we are all suffering in, they bought houses they couldn't afford, had no real financial savvy, used credit cards as income and didn't have a back-up plan. OH YES, THE MASSES HELPED MAKE THE MESS.

Do people really not understand the difference between a total AMOUNT of tax paid and a tax RATE? How can any reasonable person think that a working billionaire pays less in total taxes than their own secretary?
Back to the article, it seems poor people also don't understand all of the jobs provided by the rich simply on the basis of maintaining their lifestyles. All the jobs that go into building (and maintaining) a house, a luxury car, or boat, or plane, or fine furniture. The nanny/housekeeper, gardener, driver, errand person, etc. Well, that could be a whole blog entry unto itself ...

everyone pays taxes.you can't do anything without paying some tax,sales,gas,property,etc..they are just saying to stop all the big loop holes, deductions for the wealthy,so they pay their fair share, the 1% ers, which i doubt are on this blog.

Why do you think someone, who went to school wants to be a services person for the rich, hell let the da*n rich Republicans take their a$$ where they have their money and investment third world country or in the Swiss banks and Cacan(sp) Island. Every time somebody say the President is making the rich leave the country is telling "THE BIGGEST DA*N LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@louise: "Why do you think someone, who went to school wants to be a services person for the rich" -- um, because the poor can't hire them?
Here's an experiment -- Next time your drain clogs up or your water heater needs replacing, call a plumber. See if the price he charges you makes you feel like he is your slave. ;-)
Same for your furnace or A/C unit. Same for your car repairs (you'll think about that when emissions testing time rolls around, again). Skilled people get paid well for their services.

For the 100th time, how much do you want the rich to pay, percentage wise, since they already pay most of the taxes paid in this country?
What percent of their income should they pay to get you to stop your f-----g whining?
