I think they be confusing submissiveness with being uninformed, poorly educated, and most of all being too busy with life's challenges to bother.

Today's politicians are the last people on earth anyone should ever have as a role model.
We have the most corrupt administration in history occupying the White House right now.

Corruption in the Dumbya Bush Regime and Saint Ronnie of Reagan's regime was far far worse.
daddy Bush had to pardon some of Reagan's criminals and some went to jail.
However,the war criminals of the Bush Regime are still walking around free.
