After these cops come out of Federal court, I would Immediately file a civil lawsuit against those charged.
The chief and supervisors should be reassigned or terminated whichever fits the situation.
The taxpayers shouldn't have to foot this bill because these guys want to act like Gestapo. Hit them hard in their accounts as well as their retirements, and maybe this kind of engagements will then stop.
