i think this could had been what hit the Dinossaurs who knows...Is a theory...No scientists has everrrrrrrrrrrrr thought of this...

the milky way is in a spiral shape...well they say that in the center of the milky way there is a big massive black hole...but here is the problem...the black hole might not be in the right smack in the center of the circle/spiral, it might be a little more to the right or the the left or to the north or south of the circle/spiral...even if it was right smack in the middle, we are talking about a spiral so that the solar system that is in the edge when is making a complete revolution around the spiral when is going through the center at the edge of it, the solar system will be closer to the Massive black hole that when it is at the farter point of the spiral...there are 2 problems...when the sun and the solar system is going closest or farthest to the black hole there could be a magnetic field nodge or bump to our sun...the nodge/bump could be pulling the sun magnetic field closer or further, depending whether the solar system is closer to the black hole or further...this bump/nodge away or closer may/might/could cause many things...i will list them...i think it takes the solar system 100 million years to make a complete revolution in the milky way...

1. it could cause our Sun to expand for a couple of millions of years and then go back to its original size...

2. because the sun expands or its magnetic field expands, or shrinks for a while  it could hurt our atmosphere or earth magnetic field...

3.  because the sun expands or its magnetic field expands, or shrinks for a while it could cause all the volcanoes of the earth to erupt constantly believe it or not for a couple of millions of years...

4.  because the sun expands or its magnetic field expands, or shrinks for a while it could cause the Earth to spin faster in its revolution around the sun, if this happens winds and hurricanes and tornadoes will be faster and bigger...believe it or not, this could last for believe it or not for a couple of millions of years after the sun/solar system is away from that close spot with the milky way black hole...

5.  because the sun expands or its magnetic field expands, or shrinks for a while it could cause the Earth´s moon to get much closer than what it is now or further, influencing the sea ties...

6.    because the sun expands or its magnetic field expands,or shrinks for a while it could cause the asteroid belt to come raining throughout the solar system including Earth...

7.    because the sun expands or its magnetic field expands,or shrinks for a while it could cause pluto to spin off the solar system´s orbit away from the solar system...

8.  because the sun expands or its magnetic field expands or shrinks for a while, it could cause the cloud of comets just outside plutos orbit to come raining down on the solar system including earth...

9.  because the sun expands or its magnetic field expands or shrinks for a while, it could cause the Earth to spin slower in its revolution/lap around the sun...

10.  because the sun expands or its magnetic field expands or shrinks for a while, it could cause Jupiter and Saturn that are next to each other to get closer together or further way than they ever been for a couple of millions of years...they will not spin off the solar system they will just be closer together or further way than they ever been...

11.   Not just this could occur with the sun getting closer to the massive black hole in the milky way but by our closest solar system having a massive Sun that is: 300 times the mass of the sun and that solar system with its massive sun aligning in its lap around the milky way or getting close to our solar system...Could you imagine if our closest solar system got very close to us with its massive sun and then we [the solar system] are in that location that is close or further to the massive black hole in the center of the milky way....i dont think such alignment has happened yet...[and just imagine Jupiter and Saturn aligning in there too...]....

12.    because the sun could expands it will mean there will be more heat in the Earth, causing it to rain more and the north hemisphere to warm up more and more earthquakes...

again is just a theory...
