I do not think Romney tailored his speech for a black audience.
Simple as that.

I like Mitt Romney as a person. If trying to hide too much money and being a Mormon is the worst thing about a person - that's   good. And most rich white boys get out of the draft anyway.

I would take him over that fat head fool Newt who thought raising his voice in intimidation will get his point taken. I would have thrown tomatoes at his arse.

NOW,if the NAACP can Just Get Rience Priebus,Marco Rubio, and Allen West to address them the percentage of the black voters that WILL Vote for President Obama WILL go from 98% to 99.9%

Doubt that very seriously.
Mr. Romney going before the NAACP took guts and I for one will applaude him for that.
They know he's not the only one who has made money overseas, and just because he's a Morman they wouldn't hate him either, that is unless there racist.
Black voters aren't embroiled in just democrats, they have a conservative side also, that is why it's not as one sided as the Majority of democrats think.
I think you'll see a wider margin than you think...

jan-jan,
We already know you would throw tomatoes at Newt.
We also know if you and your friends caught him alone in your neighborhood you'd do a lot more than that.

I quess that all you Republicans can come up with , people grabbing their crotch as a put down ,make me think why the hell! are you so concern with the Black People . We are not concern with the likes of the Republican Party until they try to take away our Civil Rights and God given rights as human. the Petty talks is only what we expect from wonna be's and Liars. That old "Willard" better glad they even let him in after the kind of Sh*t went on in his Church as late as 1978 the believe that we were curse by God. There no member until last 25-30 years. I am surprise the religous right are supporting him ,while they thought the Mormon was a cults and most still do.The same way they think about Sciencology.

Ridge, I don't do hate crimes or any kind of crime unlike your Nazi Hitler group who believe in the likes of sociapath/psychopath Ayn Rand, Askinsky and the Nazi Handbook Bible. The safety of your guns ain't gonna save your soul or save you from yourself.

I don't have that kind of hate or fear in me. I'm comfortable in my own skin, and people of different races don't intimidate me. I don't need them to be bad to feel good about myself and miserable fearful people like you and Sully I feel sorry for.

@Sully, If you can make a comment, make sure you can take the backlash without tears. You start talking about black guys and their pipe; I'll be glad to tell you about how much the white girls like it.

Louise>many of the religious right aren't going to support the cult member Willard Romney.
They either will NOT Vote or support President Obama before they support A Mormon whose religions don't even have a minority or woman in leadership posts of the church.
The right brags too about Willard giving 16% of his pay to charity without mentioning that his ONLY charity IS The Mormon Church who are rich beyond comparison.
With huge palaces as Their Church.
I guess their God approves of the opulence.
