It's so bad in that area that the police run themselves ragged every day and night chasing thugs and shooters.

It's so   hard to get a conceal and carry permit here most people don't even bother they carry illegally. Which carry's a mandatory 5 yr stint if caught. There are no reasonable gun owner that say they need a assault aka 47 weapon with 100 drum to protect their home or go hunting with.The second amendment was talking about a militia and today we have the Army Reserves.There is no need for a gun of that caliber unless you are preparing for the Civil War ll.
