Our state always goes democratic,but i vote anyway as it's a privilege,a right.it's the swing states like pennsylvania where the new laws will restrict voters.some may not know of these laws.they have 3 months so there's no reason not to get the word out.GET YOUR VOTERS PHOTO ID.

i think it's askin to the laws that required black to take a literacy test and pay a poll tax. they are desperate. if i lived in jersay i would work the campaign to get people ids.

yes,and i think that's how chris christie got in.however newark does have a good mayor.he should be after voters to get proper ids.3 months left.

It's to stop the voter fraud on both sides, last year Detroit has over 250 thousand deceased people vote for you know who, also, there was absentee fraud, how do I know? Because someone stole my husbands vote, they went into the secratary of state, using his name, and changed the address and got a voter card and voted absentee. Someone at the secratary of state was in on it, whoever changed his address there didn't use the employee id number. This happened to 3 others on our street. talk about cheaters, because we sure as hell didn't vote for bumbum

If you look at the stats of voter fraud you will see that 250 thousand deceased probably is inflated number to sway opinion. I read differently. Where do you get your information? You should stop listening to other people and do your own research and consider the source. Before you trust or believe something, first you should know reliable history, the changes, todays atmosphere and the agenda. Then you won't be getting stuff twisted.

yes,i agree the republicants have a lot of ground to make up to compete with all the democratic voters.it's how they make it up,i don't like!

Not hard to get ID. Both Dems and Reps have to have it. My Dad did not have a driver's license but he got a State i.d.

Work in your community to help peple get ID.

sully16 making up things AGAIN about dead people Actually Voting in Michigan is nothing new for her.To her live people vote and because their votes aren't counted until after their deaths they were dead when they voted.
The Detroit News obviously printed what someone told them without verifying the accuracy.
Doesn't Michigan have a Republican governor?
A Republican sec. of state stole sully16's husbands ID and voted for A Democrat,
