I have some questions for this guy. If once you pay for you don't own anything else, right? Then why did we have a Civil War, the slaves were paid for. Why did we have railroad strikes, the Chinese workers were paid.   Why have we had innumerable union and labor strikes? Surely they were necessary. Why did we have the "Dust Bowl", now that's a classic, they were white people taken advantage of living in squalor homes that their employer (builders) provided for them and barely having enough money for food because they bought it from their employers' stores. Why did we have the Great Depression? Why was the Civil Rights Movement necessary. Why was JFK killed? or Martin Luther King killed? I can go on, but this country has been nothing but union and worker's strikes one after another, until Walmart (sic). You see, you are talking about inanimate objects being paid for, these are people, WORKERS. If you want to read a good book, read "The Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck. And lastly, which side of the back of the bus did you sit on during Jim Crow days.
