I read the article about Obama being a descendent of slaves.
The article was short so not much information. Where did they get the y-dna from for african heritage? The y-dna in the dunham family could have come from a later generation Punch was an indentured servant to begin with. The article did not say Punch was African.
Whites were indentured servants at that time too.

I went back to the article and found the connection to the ancestry pdfs.
