What would you do if you were president and had control over congress and they couldn't block anything and you weren't going to seek a second election to hinder when you did something.  I'm going to unblock, ridge and jarasan and maddog just so they can put in their two cents.  Please state what you would do about jobs, the economy, etc, why and what effect it will have on the people.  I got this theory that whatever your politics is, it's who you are.  No lying.

1) put tariffs on imports where the wholesale cost of the import product would match US manufacturers wholesale cost.
2) lift restrictions on gulf oil drilling. But maintain enviromental drilling regulations.
3) Close the borders to illegal entry and put congress to work on what to do with the ones here. A president is only one person so I would want imput from the American people and congress. It is not for one person to decide.
4) get rid of the czars and put the buisness of the nation back into the hands of congress.
5) evaluate all federal agencies wether they are needed or not.
6) take a tough stand on foriegn relations.
7) definetly pull the troops from Afghanistan and that area. It is a no win deal there. Bin laden is gone so get the hell out.
8) evaluate all foriegn aid to countries.

I have more but I will think about them while I go do a project in the garage.

9) Take away the power of creating new regulations in the alphabet agencies that are still left after weeding them out. They are there to enforce regulations not create them.
10) Do not interfere in the rights that belong to the states.
11) Not pick and choose what laws not to enforce. Enforce all laws that are legal to enforce.
12) The tax code is a nightmare. Put congress to work to simplify the tax code.
13) Take a look at all gov't subsidies and eliminate those not necessary.
14) Get a yearly budget passed. Bring the negotiators to the white house to hammer out the nit picking.
15) appoint supreme court justices when an opening occurs that follows the constitution.
16) Get rid of all money that go to district pork barrels.
17) Take a serious look at the health care bill.
19) Work to keep foriegn law out of our court system. Sharia for one. That is infiltrating our courts.

There is probably more but I will sit down and listen to other politicians and leaders for input on more.

Jobs are mainly up to buisness's to decide what to do. As president I would pull input from job leaders to find out what the problem is. Need to solve the problem of why they are not creating manufacturing and jobs. That would get people back to work. My item number one would help greatly.
As a matter of fact tariffs on imports is what financed this country to begin with. So tariffs would bring in revenue.
The economy follows job creation. The economy of a nation is how well jobs and low unemplyment are doing. The economy flows with the spending habits of the population. Not much a president can do with the economy as a separate item from jobs.
Ample work for the people makes for a strong nation. Imports and outsourcing is killing this nation. Those two items need to be dealt with swiftly.

I can not run for president. Too many skeletons in my closet.

One last item and I am done.
Term limits on a presidency.
With all that I have mentioned in my list there is a piss pot chance in hell that can be done in 4 years. I would request congress to change term limits to at least six 4 year terms. If a president does his job properly and becomes re elected will give him ample time to accomplish things.
If he is a dud he /she will be voted out in the next election.

First and foremost I would dissolve the corporation, the UNITED STATES, that has been masquerading as our govt. for 150 years. Then hold new elections forbidding former US, Inc. employees to participate. The new govt will start over from scratch working with the Constitution and the first ten amendments (Bill of Rights) just like they did in 1789. Common law would be the Law of the Land. Stop all federal taxation. Give all federal land back to the states.   All statutes and executive orders would be repealed. Bring all military troops home and close all foreign bases. That would be day one...
