If the DNC convention focuses on everything but the economy they may turn off a lot of voters.
Economy is priority one.
Other issues can be dealt with at anytime.

Obama announced his opposition to a bill that prohibits by federal law gender based abortions. The vast majority of those gender based abortions are female fetuses. I'd say that is a war on women.

Obama and the Democrats want women to emulate "Julia", a woman who relies on govt subsidy from birth to death, including the care and raising of her children, with no mention or assistance from family (as if 'family' is no longer relevant). I'd suggest that anyone who supports a woman's life in dependence to government handouts rather than becoming a responsible and independent woman is engaging in a war on women. Strong, independent women do not rely on government handouts. They certainly do not rely on the government to supply their $15 per month birth control.

Obama and the Democrats wish to enslave women to the same Democrat Plantation that they have enslaved black Americans since the Republicans passed the Civil Rights Amendment. That would be a war on women.
