This is a tentacle of Big Brother getting a foothold and it's un-American.
And as soon as they allow the proceeds to be dedicated to police or fire or roads and bridges or anything else, you'll never get rid of them and the need for more of them will increase.
Democrats LOVE these things. It fulfills part of their innate need to annoy people.
