I would be extremely concerned about President Bush's inability to eloquently deliver speeches, his inability to smoothly answer questions without sometimes stammering ..... except that my cousin who is a certifiable genius has similar speech patterns as if he's searching for the right word. Thought and message are delivered fine, just slight gaps in a smooth delivery.

Some people simply have problems speaking with other people, especially public speaking which has little bearing on their thought processes. I'm one of those also ..... so can see well beyond what others determine as a shortcoming. :)

i trained a guy last year who stuttered and looked half retarted.i finally asked him if he thought he could grasp everything.about 5 minutes later he was showing me newspaper articles and pics where he had wrote songs and performed with people like zz top and others. he even had an album out but it didn't catch on with the public.i was shocked and it definitely made me think twice the next time before judging someone....

IMHO a very correct determination, LOTTOMIKE.

Just because someone can speak eloquently and have a charismatic personality, is no indication of any personal substance, ethics, intent, etc. Just means they can remember their lines and deliver them in front of a camera. We're now seeing computer generated characters which can do the same.
