If Romney wins and the senate remains democratic Romney knows how to negotiate with dems. He has done it in Mass and he could do it in congress.
Romney could have the experience to pull democratic votes.
I think the dems now in congress do not want to go against this administration and work with republicans.
If Romney is elected we could have a congress that would work together again for the benefit of the nation.

Think of all the dems that got their arm twisted or their vote or bought for obamacare. The ones that finally gave in is why we have obamacare now.

Will Obama work with republicans? He has not proved working with republicans as one of his strong points.

What did Obama just say about this tax thing coming in Jan? I am not signing no deal unless I get my taxes on the millionaires and billionaires.

The Tea Party is helping Democrats?

What the writer doesn't take into account or even acknowledge is that the Republican Party is in transition and that things like this don't happen overnight.

The Tea Party is taking over the Republican Party, one primary at a time.We can no longer countenance voting for "moderate" Republicans who are as liberal as the Democrats they face in the election.

And if we lose an election because of running a Conservative in a Liberal area? Oh well, cuz having a liberal Republican representing us wouldn't be any different than a liberal Democrat as far as we're concerned. So if the RINO's and blue-bloods and country-clubbers and "moderate" Republicans want to join us they are welcome but we will be a Conservative party with Conservative candidates going forward.

It doesn't make any sense to have a 2 party system composed of liberals on both sides. This is a center-right country and we on the center-right deserve to be represented by people with our own values instead of a bunch of liberal Democrat-Lite schmucks.
