Obama Makes Final Appeal To The Less Intelligent

Published:

The Democrat Talking Heads are trying to spin a victory out of last night's debate for Obama but I think the only people who would fall for it are already in his base.

Romney has been the same, consistent, steady-hand throughout the debates and Obama has been jockeying to find an identity that he can fake and feel comfortable with. To educated America that much is clear. He came prepared and rehearsed and coached with memorized lines and comebacks and it was blatantly obvious through his new intense, stern (and somewhat silly) stare that it was all a forced, contrived display of whatever his debate preppers thought he needed to show to look more Presidential. But it's doubtful it fooled any additional voters who aren't already committed to him.

And Obama's lame "zinger" on horses and bayonets and subs and flattops was childish and unpresidential.
It won't achieve the desired effect outside of his radical base. He couldn't even present it with confidence, it was just too rehearsed and phony sounding but most of all snarky, sarcastic and childish. Not the way you want a President to act or present himself.

Obama needed to be the hero charging in on a white horse last night to rescue himself from his disastrous first debate and he just didn't do it. He couldn't pull it off. He strutted around rhetorically as usual and perhaps expected everybody to swoon like they did in '08 but he has a record now and that routine just doesn't work anymore. When it came time to put up or shut up, he was found lacking. He just couldn't close the deal. And that will contribute to the reality that he's going to lose the election in November.

Romney - Game, Set, Match.
