Nothing stopping them from moving to a state that has medicaid. Maybe the state will give them the money to move out.

Maybe the feds will give them the money to move to another state. The feds created the problem let them pay for it. Maybe the feds will resettle them into a state with large electoral votes to lock in next election.
Good idea huhh liberals, lock in a states vote before next election.
OOps, I better not give them ideas.

I don't believe anything HuffandPuffPost says.
They're liars just like the rest of the mainstream lapdog media.
The liberal media is our enemy and we might as well face it.
They're no better than the media in a 3rd world country being led by a military junta -- afraid to say something bad about the generalissimo.
I'll never believe another word they say.
They're traitors who helped corrupt and steal an election.
And I hope we can make them pay for that someday.

The Republicans in my county redrew district lines to benefit them right before the election when the demographics changed. The seats were majority democrats and the largest county had the most votes but dems lost because of the redrawn lines. So if the pubs are happy about their victories in getting the lion share regardless how they get it then let them rejoice now for they will be voted out and won't have any say in anything if they don't change. There are old people, children and the truly disable who need medicaid.

I thought Obamacare was to be available to those in need of medical care. That is what they pounded on when trying to pass it.
The uninsured will be insured under Obamacare.

Good grief Tenaj, redistricting happens with every census and the party in charge at that time is the one that benefits. Educate yourself.

The medicaid expansion is a states rights issue. They either maintain control or give over to the feds.

As to those in need: my niece became pregnant last year while her doctor was reformulating her bc pills. She has insurance, but that has a $5k deductible. She does not earn much, and was able to have medicaid assistance to help with her costs. The balance of the costs were picked up by Christus charity hospital system. She had a high risk pregnancy which is not cheap by any means.

The point is, those who need healthcare can get healthcare when they need it the most. Access to healthcare is not the issue, the cost of healthcare is. And yes, I am in Texas, one of the states who declined to participate in Obama's takeover of the healthcare industry.

Janjan, move to California or Illinois or New York or Massachussets, everything's free there. For you anyway.

@piaceri. Usually if it's not corruption, but it didnt happen like that here in NC. Remember they trumped up charges and put Jim Black in prison for being instrumental in passing the Lottery. They cut off the heads of the Dems on the re-districting committee with filibusting and obstruction and ran away Charels Dannerly for one. But America has woken up to just how important is to who it is holding the seats on a state and federal level. Shame on the Dems here in NC especially since the largest county had the most votes and held the most seats. I know for the most part the politics in my community and state.   We will find out soon if the state will participant in Obamacare. I am so glad that Beverly Perdue is still standing governor and it won't be up the the Pat McCoreu's lead.

yeah ridge you have the right to insult me but my return insults to you are of different consequence. That's the reason Republicans lost again- always presenting an uneven playing field.

It's not an insult, Janet, it's true. There are hordes of Democrats living off the back of the working people in those states. HORDES! They saw how well it worked for Detroit that they wanted to try it too.

And how are your insults of different consequence? Yesterday you said that it's a known fact that white people are not fair. That's painting with a pretty broad brush, isn't it? I wish we could just leave race out of it. We're all human beings here.
