Thank God it happened in Texas. If you defend yourself or your family or your home in a Democrat state like say maybe Illinois, you'll be charged with unlawful use of a weapon and possibly attempted murder and you'll get a Democrat judge who will throw your ass in jail.
And then the Democrat who was breaking into your house will sue you. And he'll win because the Democrat judge will take the poor, downtrodden Democrat burglar's side every time because he probably had a bad childhood or something.
