Debates Will Decide Election

Pew Research Group follow-up polling as of Sept 11-14
Registered voters: Bush 46% Kerry 46%
Likely voters: Bush 47% Kerry 46%

Investor's Business Daily poll conducted Sept. 7-12 found them even with 46 percent support each.

The Gallup survey is arguably considered by some to be more of a rogue poll.  There is a reason the Olympics don't count the high and the low scores.

"Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore" ...on to them there debates!

Gallup is the MOST RELIABLE poll, because they do it over a 2-3 day period. Saying it is a "rogue poll" is just not right.

Moreover, the latest CBS / New York Times poll has Bush leading 50 to 41 percent. CBS and NYT are two of the country's most liberal media outlets, so if THEY have that kind of lead, you can be sure about the lead being big. (Link to the poll: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/09/17/opinion/polls/main644205.shtml)

Investor's Business Daily is not a respected polling orgaization.

I don't think Kerry is going to get much help in the debates. Dick Morris had a very good commentary about it: http://www.chronwatch.com/content/contentDisplay.asp?aid=9750&catcode=11

I guess its pick the best poll who you want to win..almost all polls, including the very reliable cnn/gallup poll have Bush ahead by as much 8 points..Bush own team as well as Kerry;s team acknowldege 5-6 point lead.
