The "War on Drugs" is just a jobs program for politically connected hacks. It's name is just as much a misnomer as the Dept of Education or the Dept of Energy. They have no more effect on stopping drugs than the Education Dept has on educating anybody or the Energy Dept has on making us energy independent. They're just fronts for ultra-plush patronage jobs.
