Major snowstorm slated for weekend

A  major winter storm is expected to hit Nova Scotia starting overnight on Friday, bringing strong winds and about 30 centimetres of snow to the region when all is said and done.

Environment Canada meteorologist said, the storm should track along the United States coast and combine with a system over the Great Lakes before hitting western parts of the province..

With almost a foot of snow, you better stay home and bundle up.
The northeast US might be getting anywhere from 6 to 24 inches.

I don't have a fire place, it is electric heat, so praying we don't lose power for too long if it goes out;
