Where have you been?
Companies,like Walmart etc.,have for years been replacing full time employees with part time.
It started with Republican Presidents and Congresses about the same time they started shipping millions of American jobs offshore to 3rd world countries and their Communist Buddies of China and North Viet Nam!

I'm just wondering if that 3.8% Obamacare tax applies to lottery annuities over $200,000 or $250,000. All I have seen so far is that it applies to "the taxable parts of annuities".

Could this be another reason to take a lump sum??

I'm also wondering if the new 3.8% Obamacare tax will qualify you for medicare. It looks like it may be possible for someone to pay a lot of money on the 3.8% Obamacare tax and still not qualify to get medicare.
