My older sister just lost $3,375.00 to a con artist who offered to build a backyard
patio for her. The guy asked 50% of the total cost, but he never returned to do the job as soon as he got the money. I asked my sister why she gave him the money right away, and my sister said, " When I was talking to him, he was so polite and looked very honest; besides, he showed me an album of pictures of his previous projects which were very impressive!" How stupid can one get. And my sister has a masters degree in nursing!
