Dole doesn't look like he's going to make it. Wishy washy Dole too nice of a guy to have ever won the presidency, repubic party cling on.

I like Dole as a person and a veteran but he was one of the "go-along to get-along" guys in government when we needed strong leadership. The countryclubbers got him the nomination when he ran for President because it was "his turn" and wasted an opportunity to at least direct the debate, if not win the election with a more viable candidate.

As far as Reagan "making it" in today's GOP, Bob is way off the mark.
