block unwanted calls

I go online,  login to a site and whammo, I get unwanted calls from prepaid calling card numbers then two or three hours later the home equity folks, the bank cards, and free vacations or  whoever else that is in the mood to phone my home starts.  If some of you are having the same problem then the following may help stem the nuisance.

To Activate/Deactivate Call Block, follow the steps below:

Hang up from unwanted call and pick up phone to get dial tone.

Dial *60 (1160 for dial pulse). (Dial 3 to activate your call block list-only done on first entry; if done again, will deactivate call block service.)

Listen for announcement followed by a beep.

Dial #01# (1201 for dial pulse).

This number will be considered a private entry and will be read back as Private (See Note).

Either continue to edit the list, or hang up
