So how many years are going to be allowed to go back in time for the survivor of a same sex marriage to claim a refund on inheritance taxes.
The woman in New York now will be entitled to receive her refund.
Pretty good Obama would not defend DOMA but would let the government deny the woman her inheritance refund under DOMA.

At the time it was law and after all this is suppose to be a country of laws.
