Anyone else burned out on listening to or reading the gibberish from those I call the Sound-Byte-Morons? You know, the people who don't really follow politics or current events or the news in any meaningful way but always want to voice their opinions and theories based solely on sound-bytes and raw emotion?

You really have to wonder if there's some kind of reverse evolution going on when you hear or read what they have to say. I just find it hard to countenance the reality that there are people that incredibly stupid in this day and age. And that their preponderance in numbers seems to be increasing and may have already eclipsed those of normal intelligence in the electorate. Kinda scary when you think about it.

Here's a typical example of one of them from a comment about the Zimmerman trial I saw in another blog:

"I don't feel it was a fare trial, it sames to be races especially with an all white juriorior."

Now that's the kinda stuff that makes my head swim.

I mean, it's exceedingly clear that the writer is barely, barely, literate.

I mean c'mon, "fare trial"?  "it sames to be races"?  "all white juriorior "? This is the poetry produced when ignorance meets emotion. Does anybody really want to know what this person thinks about anything or what they have to say about anything after reading that? Does anyone think the union-thug controlled educational system in this country is giving us our money's worth?

And let's face it, we all know to which political party these people gravitate. Our current government is the product of the cumulative IQ of these people and the collective effect of their votes with the corruption of their puppetmasters in the DNC.

And lest anyone ascribe anything in error, I'm talking about average Democrats of all races and ethnicities.

I honestly couldn't care less what color people are. I only care that illiterate, uneducated and frequently impolite, boorish and uncivilized people in sufficient numbers can rule the day in our system. And things never seem to end well when the lunatics run the asylum.

But beyond all of that, sometimes I just wish the ones who really don't know what the hell is going on would just STFU. Even if just for a little while. Just to give normal, sentient human beings a brief respite. Just STFU.
