Benghazi, the Muslim Brotherhood Connection & the Libyan Intelligence Report

About two weeks ago new information came out that claimed the Muslim Brotherhood and recently deposed Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi were involved in the September 11, 2012 Benghazi attack that killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

The new information, a Libyan Intelligence document, was reportedly prepared by Mahmoud Ibrahim Sharif, Director of National Security for Libya, and was addressed to the nation’s Minister of Interior. The Obama administration did not release the report. Neither did the various Republican Committees who are investigating Benghazi. It became public in the West thanks to prolific author, Middle East and Islam expert, Raymond Ibrahim. Ibrahim reported the intelligence document came from Arabic websites, and was leaked to the Kuwaiti paper, Al Ra’i. It has since been authenticated by the Libyan government’s chief of the Department of Security in Tripoli.

As Ibrahim wrote:

“[The Libyan intelligence document] discusses the preliminary findings of the [Benghazi] investigation, specifically concerning an “Egyptian cell” which was involved in the consulate attack.” Based on confessions derived from some of those arrested at the scene” six people, “all of them Egyptians” from the jihad group Ansar al-Sharia (“Supporters of Islamic Law), were arrested.

According to the report, during interrogations, these Egyptian jihadi cell members “confessed to very serious and important information concerning the financial sources of the group and the planners of the event and the storming and burning of the U.S. consulate in Benghazi… And among the more prominent figures whose names were mentioned by cell members during confessions were: Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi; preacher Safwat Hegazi; Saudi businessman Mansour Kadasa, owner of the satellite station, Al-Nas; Egyptian Sheikh Muhammad Hassan; former presidential candidate, Hazim Salih Abu Isma’il…”

Here’s the kicker. According to a translation of the entire Libyan Intelligence report provided by Walid Shoebat, a former member of the Muslim Brotherhood, and author of numerous books including, Why I left Jihad: The Root of Terrorism and the Return of Radical Islam, and Why We Want to Kill You: The Jihadist Mindset and How to Defeat it, the report stated: “In addition, there was extremely crucial information as to the financial sources of this group and the planners and executers of the operation which carried out the breaking and entering of the American Consulate in Benghazi and killing all occupants including the desecration of their bodies in revenge for the film which was produced by the Crusaders who produced the film that insults the Messenger Peace and Prayers be upon Him (emphasis mine).” See the entire translation at the end.

Oh, the anti-Muslim film, the infamous YouTube video surfaces again. This is disinformation on several levels.

Why? Because the Libyan Intelligence report, dated September 15, 2012, four days after the Benghazi attack, backs up the false claim that a YouTube video—an anti-Muslim film was the cause of the Benghazi attack—the same lie that the Obama administration, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former United Nation Ambassador Susan Rice, White House spokesman Jay Carney and then Central Intelligence Director David Petraeus told the world. Since then it has been revealed that the Obama administration knew within two hours that the Islamist militia group Ansar al-Sharia took credit for the attack and declined life-saving requests to help Americans in peril.

Blaming the film that corroborates the Obama-Clinton regime’s false Benghazi narrative is your first tip that this Libyan Intelligence document was apparently written as damage control and disinformation for the Obama administration or the Libyan officials were duped. Calling the “consulate” that wasn’t a consulate but a CIA outpost is another clue.

This intelligence document also provides cover for the administration’s gunrunning and arms smuggling from Libya through Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan into Syria to remove Syrian President Assad, next stop Iran, which is what Benghazi was really about. Most importantly it helps to conceal who was truly behind the attack—Iran. As previously reported, Ansar al Sharia according to Saudi intelligence, is backed, funded and directed by Iran. They are enemies of the Saudis and are trained by Iran’s Quods forces. Obviously the Iranian regime has no intentions of being ousted next in Obama’s Arab Spring misadventures like occurred with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Libyan President Col. Muammar Gaddafi which is why Iranian soldiers and Hezbollah are fighting for Assad in Syria.

This is also why that despite the Obama administration’s promises that justice would be served—no one has been held accountable for the murder of four Americans.

By now everybody knows the Benghazi attack had nothing to do with a YouTube videothat barely anybody watched yet has resurfaced in this Libyan intelligence report. Additionally, despite the White House having released 99 pages of emails regarding the creation of the Benghazi talking points and all the Republican so-called investigations, we still don’t know who first decided to falsely blame Benghazi on a film.

Next, why would anyone be surprised to learn that the Muslim Brotherhood or Egyptians were in Benghazi as detailed in this Libyan intelligence document? Consider what was happening at that time.

Who was running the show in Libya by helping the Libyan Transitional National Council (TNC) fill the vacuum that was left behind after the Obama administration/Saudi/NATO operation overthrew Libyan President Gaddafi in the summer of 2011? The Obama-Clinton regime.

Who funded and armed the “rebels” that were made up of various Sunni terrorist groups and Islamic militants like al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood to overthrow Gaddafi in the first place? As the New York Times reported—the Obama administration. “Rebels” from several countries and fractions have flocked hot spot areas, including Libya and now Syria, to wage Jihad ever since the so-called Arab Spring started. These “rebels” and friends of the administration also looted Gaddafi’s vast weapons arsenal in Libya that including taking the most advanced Russian surface-to-air missiles that can easily take down a commercial airliner.

Who refused to give a full accounting and inventory of the MANPAD/buy-back weapons recovery program in Libya that Hillary Clinton funded using $40 million? The Obama-Clinton-Kerry State Department.

Who in the State Department had a motive to keep the YouTube video lie intact at the time the Libyan intelligence report was written? Hillary Clinton. After all, isn’t she undergoing a massive public relations make-over for a presidential run in 2016?

Who is declining to process my Freedom of Information Act requests on Benghazi? Thus far Obama’s Central Intelligence Agency and Federal Bureau of Investigations.

Remember, what was going in Benghazi was a covert CIA operation with the State Department providing diplomatic cover. As the Wall Street Journal reported, “Two of the four men who died that day, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, were former Navy SEAL commandos who were publicly identified as State Department contract security officers, but who actually worked as Central Intelligence Agency contractors, U.S. officials say.” Do not be deceived.

Therefore it should be no surprise to see in the Libyan intelligence report that members of the Muslim Brotherhood and supporters of President Morsi were present in Benghazi at that time or that there were Egyptians from Ansar al Sharia there. It would be a surprise if they weren’t there. As reported, in The Benghazi cover-up is the proxy battle with the war with Iran, the attack in Benghazi was not a terrorist attack; it was a nation-state attack, an escalation of war, and an opening of a new front in the tit for tat conflict with Iran and by extension their proxy partner Russia that is now being fought in Syria.

As a person with direct information regarding Benghazi explained, “The point being Iran is very good at the double triple agent crap. By making Morsi the bad guy makes Obama not want to investigate further as any revelations are likely to further expose the relationship between Morsi, Obama and support to rebels in Syria.”

Moreover, one would know if the information in the Libyan intelligence report was solid if the Yemen players in Ansar al Sharia, who were trained by Iran—some of the men in the photographs that were released by the FBI, were interviewed.

Kidnapping Plot to Release the Blind Sheik?

While people have theorized and speculated that the attack in Benghazi was a botched kidnapping plot concocted by President Obama to kidnap Ambassador Christopher Stevens and exchange him for Omar Abdel Rahman (“the Blind Sheikh”), who currently is in a U.S. prison for the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993—what they may not realize, as reported here is how President Obama has been releasing terrorists ever since he took office. He certainly does not need to stage a risky kidnapping to release the Blind Sheik. It’s frankly surprising that he hasn’t already done it for “humanitarian purposes” but be patient his second term is still young.

Don’t forget, Obama already tried and failed to release the Blind Sheik as a goodwill gesture to Egypt when President Morsi came to power. He stopped because of the blowback from the American people. The same thing happened when Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder attempted to bring admitted 9/11 terror mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to New York City to be tried in court. The blowback was so fierce the administration gave it up. How could releasing the Blind Sheik weeks before the 2012 presidential election possibly help Obama’s re-election? It wouldn’t, on the contrary. It might wake Americans up to what the administration has been doing while they were sleeping. Again, do not be deceived.

Need more? Ever since taking office President Obama had downplayed terror threats as a whole. His administration downgraded the War on Terror to “overseas contingency operations.” The White House issued an edict to “scrub all law enforcement, intelligence and military teachings on Islam.” Before the 2012 elections Obama was on the stump bragging that since Osama bin Laden was dead that al Qaeda was on the run. Terror threats around the world? What terror threats?

Again, I ask you how could staging a risky, high-profile, international incident, kidnapping plot with Ambassador Stevens in exchange for the Blind Sheik promote that narrative and more importantly help Obama’s re-election?

Remember when the attack in Benghazi happened America was in the final weeks of the 2012 presidential election cycle. A proxy war with Iran—the reason behind the Benghazi attacks, could not be known to the public. It was unacceptable for Americans to know that at any time troops could be sent into Syria which will explode into Iran and could trigger World War III.

This is why the Obama administration pulled out an obscure YouTube video to falsely blame for the attack in Benghazi. This is the reason why Hillary with President Obama appeared in a paid advertisement costing $70,000 to disavow the YouTube video that aired in Pakistan, a YouTube video that doesn’t appear anywhere in their infamous talking points that were repeatedly edited but miraculously appears in this September 15, 2012 Libyan Intelligence Report.

Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember?

Report Regarding Egyptian Accomplice Terror Cell That Raided and Burned The American Embassy in the District of Benghazi

His Excellency and dignified Interior Minister, a blessed greetings.

We are honored to bring to his Excellency’s attention regarding the arrest of the Egyptian [terror] cell, which carried out the crime and our investigation up to this date and this hour. That is, after the carrying out of the crime of invading and burning the American general consulate building in the district of Benghazi which happened on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 which resulted in the killing of Mr. Chris Stevens, the American Ambassador in the nation of Libya and Mr. Sean Smith, who finances the Department of Information of the United States Foreign Service including other employees [working] for the embassy. Based on the confessions declared by some who were arrested at the scene of the incident and through our fruitful cooperation with the Department of Security agencies in Benghazi with the information obtained shows that some of the accomplices have escaped the scene of the crime and concentrated themselves in Tripoli. Based on this provided information, an investigative and research group in the agency gained a precise location of the whereabouts this escaped cell was hiding in the vicinity of Khilat Al-Farjan. Immediately after, they were engaged by a special strike force unit, which was able to arrest persons from the cell, all of whom are Egyptian.

The initial investigation shows that the membership of the group [belongs] to the jihadist group Ansar Sharia in Egypt which was established and led by Egyptian cleric Marjan Salem. In addition, there were extremely crucial information as to the financial sources of this group and the planners and executers of the operation which carried out the breaking and entering of the American Consulate in Benghazi and killing all occupants including the desecration of their bodies in revenge for the film which was produced by the Crusaders who produced the film that insults the Messenger, Peace and Prayers be upon Him. The most distinguished names that were obtained from the confessions by members of the cell, is the person, the President of Egypt, Muhammad Morsi, Safwat Hijazy and Saudi businessman Mansour Bin Kadasa, the owner of Al-Nas TV station, Muhammad Hassan, previous candidate Hazim Salah Abu-Ismael, Egyptian attorney named Mamdouh Ismael, Egyptian cleric Atef Abdul Rashid, and other personalities. We also promise your Excellency to exert all our efforts to complete all the investigations and place the final report with your Excellency with 48 hours, Lord willing.
