If we take into account the 8 years before President Obama, then we will have a better prospective. All that has happened to our economy took more than 8 years. There are too many factors that contributed to the economic slow down. There is no one factor that caused it. There is more than enough blame to go around.

By the time YOU knew anything about it the next morning the pres. had already committed OUR treasury funds and ordered the fed to drop rates by a point and the markets (and banks) had re-opened.
