Naaww, I'm not buyin' it. There's something very wrong with this article...it's making way too much sense and contains logic. My friend Michael uses Illinois as the bench mark for all black violence during his week-end review. Truth is, this place was bad before BO took office and only became a spectacle when the gun issue surfaced like it did...it's a good tactic to spotlight BoB crime within reason.
However, there are lots of black boys doing good things in many other places but, they never make the best talking points. Even white and hispanic kids that are doing something with their lives and staying out of trouble...they just don't make good headlines. People like and want to hear the bad and negative so they can negatively reinforce their racial biases. It's a vicious cycle. Kids become products of their environments and friends which determines if they make good or bad decisions all the time.

Anyone with enough consistent exposure to anything will begin to gradually conform to it...it's proven. I'm not giving anyone a pass to steal, beat, or kill just because they had a rough life. Sadly enough, lots of them just want to do and be bad because the people they listen to make it sound so cool. Others do it so they can survive 'the life'...that's the cycle.
