lilluv, I had almost forgotten about that...they were actually honoring him during that particular moment for the 'type of man' that he was. He directly, racially offended then Sen. Carol Moseley Braun with "Whistling Dixie." It was totally uncalled for and intentional. The whole John Wayne deal, which Cruz elaborated on, was purposely orchestrated in an effort to get his personal point out regarding exactly how he feels.

"We need (100) more of them." If they want more of Helms' in congress, then that speaks volumes about just where exactly we really are with racism. This man filibustered the law to make MLK a national holiday...he hated King. This is the reason why I brought up how certain people here are absolutely fakes when it comes to blacks and racism. They could care less about King and his efforts...but they want to parade him around and attempt to throw him up in our faces if it works with their agendas. All this BS about 'a man's man' then they turn right back around and essentially call Putin 'a man's man' only because it supports their hate for Obama.

But, it's all good because it's so easy to piece together...can't hid that kind of sickness. Actually, they have no desire to hide it, which is good, because we know what we're up against and how to handle it...and knew it all along. My advice: let the h8ers continue to make you gr8er. I like Cruz for certain reasons...and not hiding his racism is one of 'em.
