They are protecting consumers. That is what they are doing. There is no debate here.
This getting ripped off by fly by night contractors has been going on for years. Disgusting is the word for it.

After hurricane hugo hit Charleston area everyone and their brother hit town to do work. People being conned, workmanship not meeting standards. Awful.
I understand New Orleans had the same problem.
I have no patience or tolerance for this sort of thing.

Throw some tools in a truck and call themselves qualified tradesmen. Do not know sh!t from brown dirt.
