Why do you think an intelligent person, as Dr. Carson, say something like that, if he didn't think it was true??? Do you think he is blowing smoke, or could it be from a doctors perspective? Maybe, he understands just how bad Obama care really is!!!

Anyone with COMMON SENSE knows that it is impossible to make such an assumption about such a sordid time in America's history as SLAVERY. There is nothing in America's history that can compare to the INSTITUTE of SLAVERY.

In my opinion there is!!! The Indian wars were much worse than slavery!!! That was outright murder!!!! How many blacks would you guess were outright murdered, 10000,20,000?? How many Indians were killed, 50,000 or more??? I'm guessing here, I will bet that more blacks were killed on the boats that brought them here, than outright murdered.

You're right, that would be a guess especially since the deaths of many slaves were never recorded. The Indians at least had a fighting chance...the slaves on the other hand, were at the mercy of their cruel slave master. Also, no part of slavery was humane or liked by those enslaved. The history books and television lied.

Running women and children down on horseback is a fighting chance?
Taking away our weapons and slaughtering our food supply was a fighting chance?
Rounding us up like cattle and starving us was a fighting chance?
Any form of abuse on another human is wrong, and this bullsh*t of using what happened to ancestors 150 years ago to get something extra or free is just as wrong as the original crime.

Comparing atrocities that were committed against human being that were equal and had rights in the sight of GOD is moot when you have no power or economic means to do anything about it.

While your at it, why don't you research the Buffalo Soldiers, they loved killing Indians also.

While you are at it, research about how Indians also owned slaves. That's if you want to do some real research.
