I'm proud of the Republicans that stood up, said and did the right thing. Kudos to them.

The tea party overestimated their importance once again.

The Tea Party is not going to turn back the clock. This country is going to move forward with or without them. I am tired of these few "old south" idiots trying to wreck the country with their idiotic beliefs. Heaven help us if they ever gain enough power to pass some of the legislation that they want to pass. They need to get over it...brown people are here to stay. The Old South is dead and they need to go away with it. I was really dismayed that they would wreck the country with their demands and think nothing of it. That is NOT the American way. Congress is there to do what is Good for the country as a whole, not to pander to a few zealots with an agenda.
