I Feel Insulted As A Veteran Today

I spent 16 years of my life defending the country I love that should be free but to see Speedo make a comment about veterans day and his but buddy liluv pucker up to him as if he did something back in the days is sickening. I do not consider speedo as a brother. A real brother would NEVER accept Obama as a Commander-In-Chief. And by the way, my flag at my house was raised at full mass today but will go back down to half mass tomorrow. It has been flying at half mass since Obama was re-elected.

I have agree with you Reddog. I've asked many of times what his duty and MOS were, but I got no response to my inquiries, so it only leads me to believe he wasn't even service connected at all. He also doesn't want to see what a snow job his mentor is pulling over the people of the U.S.A.. He knows what is happening around the Country and if he doesn't he's a ignorant as the Liar-in-Chief. I don't even respond to any blogs he's posted on anymore.   By the way Happy Veterans Day...

Clods like the ones you mentioned like to make you think they're on your side, but truth be known they're snakes - typical liberal ploy.
As MADDOG implied, when asked what have they ever done FOR their country they have no answer.
As far as mr. soetero (and Clinton) are concenred, I have more respect for those chaps in the black pj's who were out to kill me- they fought for their country.

Reddog.....I attended our local Veterans Day Celebration yesterday and this poem was read, wanted to share it with you...BTW...Thank You for your service...

IT IS THE SOLDIER...!!!

It is the Soldier, not the minister
Who has given us freedom of religion.

It is the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the Soldier, not the poet
Who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer
Who has given us freedom to protest.

It is the Soldier, not the lawyer
Who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the Soldier, not the politician
Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.

I salute all my brothers and sisters who sacrificed as I did away from home on foreign soil and home soil. Thank God I had an understanding wife who supported me when I was 100 percent and when I came home not 100 percent.
