Hypocrisy is the state of falsely claiming to possess virtuous characteristics that one lacks. Hypocrisy involves the deception of others and is thus a kind of lie. It is amazing that a certain segment of our population pretend to speak for all, but in reality speak only on behalf of their selfish agenda. SAD.
