Poverty was never a priority on the repubs agenda. They have always catered to the rich and big business. All they have is false promises and catchy phrases when it comes to the poor and down trodden. JESUS had to rebuke his disciples for thinking about money and ignoring the poor and for failing to acknowledge who was in their presence. JESUS concern for the poor is expressed in the “The Synoptic Gospels”. For the people who don’t go to church or bible study that’s Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. JESUS spoke concerning the POOR in the following Chapters and verses in the KJV of the Bible: Matthew 5:3, Matthew 11:4-6, Matthew 19:16-26, Matthew 26:6-13, Mark 10:17-27, Mark 14:3-9, Luke 6:20, Luke 7:22-23, Luke 18:18-27, Luke 4:16-21, Luke 14:7-14, Luke 14:15-24, Luke 16:19-31, Luke 19:1-10, and John 12:1-8. If more people read and studied their Bible, a lot of the problems that we are now facing, could be solved. The repubs way did not work nor did the dems way work. Now try GOD’S way…you won’t be disappointed.
