Now, for an intelligent and informative response with no 'artificial fillers.' I disagree with Jackson on this particular front as there was no real basis in my opinion. However, blatant disrespect, being highly unprofessional, and unwillingness to conduct an orderly session definitely apply here. I honestly believe that had it been another (R), thing would've been different. Cummings had a question and was getting to it all while Issa had stood up and was collecting his files etc.

Cummings was still sitting down and Issa expected to be addressed while basically on his way out. The man's mic was turned off while he was yet speaking, and, Issa told the reporter, "We're done here." while Cummings was still speaking. There's nothing fair about any of that. Issa was just pissed about Lerner's actions and took it out on Cummings...he simply had enough of all the (D)'s at that point. Cummings was well within his rights to speak, and, was dead on in how he sized up the handling of that session.

Now, Cummings came right out and said in an interview the next day that he personally wouldn't have disrespected like that that...turning off the mic and such. Further more, he said that he would've wanted to hear what the other person had to say and that he 'avoided the race issue because it's only a distraction and makes the headlines as opposed to the facts.' That's professionalism right there. Now, we have Jackson jumping into the mix doing exactly the opposite...and looking silly while at it. Just because two ranking members of the opposite ethnicity fall out like this doesn't count as racism.

If anything, he should've focused on Issa's lack of professionalism...it would go much farther. Unlike the extremists and a certain type of (R), we don't all think alike and are able to discern right from wrong while making an educated call on issues such as this. Extremists and certain (R)'s want all their people to think, and do exactly like they do or else they're not one of 'em. Translation: You're unable to think for yourself and we're gonna do it for ya....on every single front. If you don't like it, see ya! You're one of them!

Yep, this is the same thing those 'soap opera hosts' on the radio shows try and say about the (D)'s. Well, I'm proof that we all, in fact, don't think alike and can reason for ourselves...no re-programming or daily maintenance needed. In closing, I will fortify my intelligence by extending Rush his due credit. He actually said that Cummings doesn't have to play the race card as it's not his style...he has others that will do it for him...ala Jesse Jackson.
