The radical Alinskyite Liberals took over the Democrat party an election or two at a time. Plus they converted Democrats not Alinskyite into their line of thinking or hit the road.

Oh that goes without saying.
McCain was even censured by the Republicans in AZ recently.
He's a lib who calls himself conservative at election time.
